Terms and conditions for rentals

1. Confirmation

By accepting these purchase terms, a binding agreement is created. Upon receipt of the order, an order confirmation is automatically sent per email with information about the order. However, Suðuroyar Kajakk reserves the right to cancel the order if the stock was incorrect at the time of the customer’s order. For example, suppose Suðuroyar Kajakk cannot deliver on the order confirmation. In that case, the customer will be contacted and allowed to cancel the order.

2. Age limit and other requirements
When renting an ocean kayak or SUP, you must be at least 18 years old. You must also show us your IPP2 certificate and a valid ID for the ocean kayaks. The sit-on-top kayaks are appropriate for 3+ years old. Each child must have one accompanying adult. 

3. Prices and order amount
All prices on Suðuroyar Kajakk’s website are stated in Danish kroner, DKK, including VAT.

4. Payment

1. Pay via bank transfer to Suðuroyar Kajakk’s bank account in Betri Banki. Account: 9181 – 5507342.

2. Credit card payment. We accept Dankort, Visa and MasterCard.

When paying by card, the card number, the card’s expiry date and CVC are given. Payment is made via Stripe, certified and thus meets all security requirements regarding bank and credit card transactions. Through Stripe, Suðuroyar Kajakk is guaranteed fraud monitoring.
